Constellation

Apollo was headed home as the sole person aboard a research ship called “The Safety” when it was hit by an asteroid and badly damaged. They escape in an escape pod, but the pod has damaged navigation systems. The pod can orient itself and take manual inputs, but its pathfinding system’s star charts have been scrambled. The player, as Apollo, must find the path through the stars using the navigation system’s remaining data as hints. Hints are presented as particular constellations, which the player must recreate within puzzles. The puzzles consist of grids of stars with variations in star shape, size, color, and brightness. The target constellation in each puzzle will utilize stars that match, and the player must identify the correct starts to connect. Making a mistake in a puzzle will reduce your oxygen supply. If your oxygen supply is reduced to zero, it’s game over. Upon completion of the final puzzle, Apollo returns home safely.
